The Friends of Holy Trinity Church

The Friends of Holy Trinity Church is an organisation dedicated to the life of the Church, which raises funds to help with the fabric and worship.

Projects have included:

  • installation of a butler sink

  • purchase of 60 chairs for the Capper Room

  • redecoration of the cloakroom

  • toilets

  • printing of 20 new Orders of Service used on Sunday mornings.

The constitution

The Friends of Holy Trinity Church was formed to:

  • Assist in the repair, conservation and improvement of the fabric of Holy Trinity Church

  • Stimulate interest in Holy Trinity Church

  • Encourage and support activities calculated to preserve and beautify Holy Trinity Church

  • Make gifts for the benefit of Holy Trinity Church as the Committee of Friends of Holy Trinity may deem appropriate

  • Aid with the administration and its work

  • Support the project to restore the Handel Organ

  • Encourage others to become Friends of Holy Trinity Church

  • Arrange social and fundraising events in accordance with our objectives.

Become a Friend of Holy Trinity

By becoming a Friend of Holy Trinity Church, you will enable us to maintain this House of Prayer in all her beauty so that others like you may be inspired by it. With prayer, financial support and generosity of spirit, that others will come to know and love this House of the Lord.

Friends membership is an annual payment of £12 per person, or £20 for a couple.

Dedicate a chair

Many chairs in Church have a plaque on the reverse. These commemorate the memory of a loved one or give thanks for a particular occasion. The cost of this plaque is £40. If you are interested, please speak to Peter Darcy at church, or use the form below to submit your dedication request.
